RECAP: The defending NBA champions are looking for a few more titles and Head Coach Phil Jackson is hoping to bring the city of Los Angeles just that. After the end of their championship run last season, G Jordan Farmar and F Josh Powell are no longer in purple and gold.
Adding to the team in the off season are F Matt Barnes, F Theo Ratliff and G Steve Blake who will replace Farmar. Center Andrew Bynum underwent successful knee surgery on July 28th and is expected to be ready by training camp. Look for assistant head coach Brian Shaw to succeed Phil Jackson after the 2010/11 season and for him to carry on the triangle offense.
