History: Originally started in 1978, the Holiday Bowl is played annually at Qualcomm Stadium in sunny San Diego, California and matches teams from the Big 12 and the Pac 12 with a payout of $2.35 million. Last year’s contestants were Washington and Nebraska which Washington won in a tight 19-7 game.
