The month of May was very important for Gwen Stefani and her group No Doubt. The group performed their second show in five years and announced a tour that will carry them through at least August 12, 2009. Stefani, who has been busy upping her fashion image and producing solo works came out on stage in a sleeveless shirt, jeans and chains hanging off her side and rocked the house.
No doubt hit it big in 1995 with the release of “Tragic Kingdom” and the single “Just a Girl” which found heavy rotation on the radio. By 1999, the album was certified Diamond selling over 16 million albums worldwide and is cone of the best selling albums in history.
The band released its sophomore album, “Return of Saturn” in 2000, “Rock Steady” in 2001 which produced two Grammy Awards Winning Singles. They then released “The Singles 1992-2003 as well as a DVD Box set titles “Boom Box” and “Rock Steady Live” from the 2003 Rock Steady Tour.
The groups new album (No title yet) is set to be released in 2010 after they wrap up their current tour. Be sure to get your No Doubt tickets as soon as they go on sale in your city.
