2011 Season Outlook: Look for the Redskins to bounce back from a subpar 2010 season. While there are still questions at QB, the trading of Donovan McNabb and the signing of Rex Grossman are almost sure to happen. If the team can gel in the early part of the season, they will be trouble for their NFC foes.
Recap: New Head Coach Mike Shanahan takes over a squad that last season won only 4-games. To help in that regard, the Redskins pulled the trigger on a trade sending a 3rd and 4th round pick in the 2011 draft for Eagles QB Donovan McNabb. Look for McNabb to make an immediate impact on the team.
In the draft, the Redskins selected Oklahoma OT Trent Williams with the 4th overall draft selection. Other draftees include LSU LB Perry Riley, Louisiana Tech TE Dennis Morris, UCLA WR Terrence Austin, New Mexico C Erik Cook and WV G Selvish Capers.
