The Seattle Seahawks have already been secured their place in the 2016 NFL Playoffs and will be facing the highest winning seed from the NFC Wild card round and this week they will face the 5-8 Arizona Cardinals who are already knocked out of playoff contention.
The Seahawks know that the Cardinals are still a dangerous team, especially now with the team auditioning for next season. The Cardinals are still a danger on the defensive side with the 5th best defense in the league.
The Seahawks will use the final two games to solidify their offensive line, which they are again shuffling this week as Gary Gilliam will again start over Bradley Sowell at right tackle, a sore spot on the line. The players are all in for the competition.
"I don’t like it, that’s what it is,” Offensive line coach Tom Cable said. “You’d like to be more settled than that, but unfortunately it’s not working out that way for us. What is working out is we’re getting a bunch of guys playing and involved, and I think that bodes well moving forward."
