RECAP: After mourning the loss of F/C Amare Stoudemire for about twenty seconds, the Phoenix Suns took advantage of the $16.5 million trade exception and brought in firepower to help alleviate the loss of Stoudemire. Joining the club are F/C Hakim Warrick (who replaces Stoudemire), G Josh Childress and F Hedo Turkoglu. Also new to the team is GM Lon Babby. Yes, that Lon Babby; the players agent for such superstar ball players as Tim Duncan, Grant Hill and yes, Hedo Turkoglu. "I'm going to play to my strengths. I know what I'm good at, I know what I'm not good at," Babby said recently. "I've never told anybody I was Red Auerbach. I have no expectation of taking the lead on those kind of talent-evaluation questions. My first order of priority is to bring somebody in here who is a basketball genius."

The 2010 NBA Draft saw the Suns selected Georgia Tech PF Gani Lawal with their 46th overall selection. They used their 2nd pick on Miami PF Dwayne Collins (60th overall selection) and expect that Lawal Collins to fight for time with the other 5 forwards on the team.
