Recap: Just three games behind the defending American League and World Series Champions, the Tampa Bay Ray are looking to make a move before the season’s trade deadline hits. Media reports indicate the team may be going after Philadelphia’s Jayson Werth, the Orioles Luke Scott and or Milwaukees Corey Hart. Manger Joe Maddon didn’t deny the reports. "You're always looking to make yourself better. Yeah, of course, if the right deal was out there to make us better, (executive VP Andrew Friedman) is always looking to do that. Absolutely we would embrace that opportunity," Maddon said.
Injuries to the team are minimal and include LF Carl Crawford and LHP J.P. Howell
