Orlando Magic Information

SEASON RECORD: 0-0 (.000)
DIVISION RECORD: 0-0
HOME RECORD: 0-0, ROAD RECORD: 0-0
STATUS: 4th in the Southeast

RECAP: Head Coach Stan Van Gundy has a commitment from the Magic franchise that they will do whatever they have to do to win including going $30 million over the salary cap. Signing F Quentin Richardson and G Chris Duhon said as much. But when the franchise matched guard J.J. Redick's offer sheet from Chicago, everyone in the city knew how deep that commitment went. The team signed the backup guard to a 3-year $19 million contract and kept him out of a Bulls uniform. Look for the starting five to be: 1-Jameer Nelson, 2-Vince Carter 3-Mickael Pietrus, 4-Rashard Lewis and at the 5-Dwight Howard.

In the 2010 NBA Draft, the Magic selected Kentucky F/C Daniel Orton with the 29th overall selection. The Magic expect he will fill the backup center position after Adonal Foyle retires. With their second selection, they selected UCONN F Stanley Robinson.

Look for your Magic to compete for the Eastern Conference Title in the coming season. Tickets may be hard to come by but make sure yo9u come out and support your Orlando Magic.
